New England Saltbox

We think this is our most practical design for a suburban property. Thousands of New England farmers used it for their barns and homes for its economical size and shape. From the front, the Saltbox has a full-height entrance for easy access. The rear slopes down to a low profile that fits easily into your lot but is just the right size to store lots of lawn and garden machinery. With our 5' door option, you can drive a good size tractor right in and park it up against the back wall.

We made our saltbox with room for vent windows on the gable end to let in air and light without giving up wall storage space.
