Pilgrim Woodshed

With the heating prices going the way they are, we’re planning to use our fireplace and wood stove a lot more this winter. Just doing our part to take the pressure off oil supplies. Those wood racks won’t work; we have to split enough wood and let it age out of ask weather for maximum heat value. Our wood shed is special; it can be loaded from both sides and lets you control the drying.

The Pilgrims used split wood roofs for their sheds, but we recommend you give your woodshed a modern metal roof. When it cures, firewood sends off lots of moisture and a metal roof ventilates well and won’t mildew under all that moisture. Today’s metal roofs come in a great range of colors.
